Fair

She passes me in the hall without a glance… Major changes have occurred… I confronted her with the lack of love… And she begrudgingly concurred… Is all lost? Is her friend, the stranger to blame? Do I let her have her fun, and hope one day things will be the same? Lord knows I’ve done some terrible wrongs… I carry enough regrets for a great country song… Is this the heavy cross I am to bare? I guess in love and war, fair is fair…
