Failure To Love
Although she had riches beyond compare
Not one morsel of her wealth did she share
She lived by man’s rules and paid all her taxes
Her worldly goods grow; she sits, relaxes
She knows something’s missing, but what is it?
Not one word of kindness does this gal transmit
The years before her are growing shorter now
Deep furrows can be seen in her aging brow
Though she rendered to Caesar that which was his
She’ll surely score low on God’s Judgment Day quiz
"Render unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's, and unto God the things that are God's"… Matthew 22:21
