Failure
I gave you my heart, by ripping it out of my chest.
I gave you my tears, by letting them fall onto your pages.
I gave you my soul, by expressing what I cannot speak.
I gave you everything, that I can possibly give to you.
And it is still not enough.
I try, and I try, and I try.
I fail, and I fail, and I fail.
After each and every time, I feel like throwing my pen and paper in the trash.
And walking away.
Never to return.
Yet, my heart will not let me stop loving you.
Whether I fail, or succeed.
I am addicted to you.
And you draw me back in.
