Failure

My greatest failure was that I never had enough of them I chose the last seat The second best Tried hard But never harder I flew with my wings Close to ground Safe in the knowledge That the fall will never hurt Never really understanding The beauty of the sun The blaze of risking All that I had So that the weak bones of mine Could burn away with the ability to shine
