Eyes Wide Open
~**~
There are somethings in my mind
Things even I don't want to find
I want paint the town grey
Instead of red
In the ebony shadow of yesterday
When did this these walls begin bleeding
Like the lunar eclipse and the burnt red sky
Red like your lovers lips.
Dangling salvation in front of their noses
Smelling black roses
Time like tomorrow just out of reach
Chrome stars a million miles away.
Close your eyes from hidden scars
You're color blind...
I blow to the silver moon a liar's kiss
Yesterdays memories so blue
Contentedly picking up the pieces of today.
