Eyes of a Dove
I sit and stare into the misery of all mankind
They live their lives without care of tomorrow
That woman there cries over there a man is mad
Why do they waste in sorrow?
I see them working but for what?
They must know one day they’ll die
Just to give up any chance of living life
They struggle for money but why?
Intelligent they have become; mankind
How they fly through the air with ease
I see them driving in automobiles
And ships that float on the sea.
What wonderful magic they created with light
Such evils within the gun
Just yesterday I saw a stumbling man
Kill his only son.
What horrific tragedies they have bestowed; mankind
They live as one as a whole
Ignoring the meaning of true existence
Each individual soul.
They should fly away like I would
Instead of wasting in sorrow on land
Not me I’ll fly away to a new branch
My eyes to look upon man.
