Extinct Eagles
They were the treasure.
Created by Almighty Himself.
They put color at skies,
As their wings flapped with zephyr.
There were plenty of them
Soaring up high with the clouds.
I’m now wondering…
Where are they now?
I missed seeing the old feathers.
As it fell on their prey’s head.
The screeching voice of his throat.
Does it sound like an epic bird?
The fierce look on his face,
As he roamed around the jungle
Catching his little prey
For his scrumptious meal.
Now they are all gone.
I missed watching them flying in the sky.
They are all slayed to death
As hunters shot them down.
Bullets on their heads,
Cut them piece by piece,
Eaten by human’s stomach,
Threw their bodies somewhere,
Now they are all extinct.
