Expressway Downpour
.
blinding
lightning
cracks,
shatters
watery
darkness
of the sky;
blasts
of thunder,
wipers
shudder,
drag
themselves
across
my frosted,
rain-battered
windshield;
need to
pull over
for a safe
shiver!
