Exposed

Lights go out, it’s black again I can’t lie or even pretend The hole is deep The wounds exposed I died your death It clearly shows, A garden invaded by savages Who raped the colors and left it bare While planting stones of mercury they burned the will to even care, A vineyard blazing with toxic dreams, The world I’ve known is made up of salted streams. When comfort faded and snow kept the city numb A new ship docked to have more fun. By: Sabina Nicole 11/8/12
