Expectations
Expectations, that's what we have
Is it beneficial that it'll last
Could it be from the past
The reason we can't grasp (ooooooooohhhh)
Holding on to something old, I was choosing while you'd already chose
This was bold, I can see
That we are in expectancy
Expecting something new
But these old feelings are over you
Is it true that it could be
That our love needs to flee
Sitting on expectations, while time is steady wasting
No replacing just let it go
No more walking your way through the door
Is there more I'm just saying
That's what happens when love keeps playing
There's a pattern that we couldn't put together
How could something so lovely
Not last forever,
Maybe we didn't try as hard
We had alot to look up to
But you never let down your guard
You thought that I was out to hurt you
I would never
I guess in the end we expected better
But it seemed when it was just us
We could face any kind of weather
I hope one day ,With all due respect
That we both find what we expect
Don't settle ,For tea in a kettle
Or a bike without a pedal
A medallion without a medal
This for the gentleman and the ladies
Don't be in something make you question yourself maybe
If it's not good for you move on to the next
If it's not what you expect
