Evil
This land was your land this land is their land
yet sad is my tail of woe as people steal and gloat
the Ottoman wealth was gained
from the sale of Palestine's shore's
The peasants of poverty cried out in vain
the land of their fathers drifted away
stolen by Ottoman laws
with evil the rich came to play
The peasants on death beds cried out in pain
the land that you stole provided their food
the rich men they wallowed at troths of gold
enjoying the riches as peasants cried fowl
With poverties anger up came revenge
the evil of hunger cried out in vain
the children of farmers soldiers became
the evil grew stronger with death it's new game
and so turns the clock on a dime
as evils takes hold of your time
terrorists rise from the flames
and evil destroys peoples planes
Suicide bombers grew from this sludge
one people one planet we need to cry fowl
stop all the evil stop it right now
surely I know it surely I see
All men can be evil
when greed leads to sin
you blame all the others
for sins of the past
Attacking the innocent
men at their jobs
people that never
did anything wrong
We did not steal
the farms that you had
and yet you would kill us
for other Men's deeds
You think you are better than us
yet truth be it told
be it never so bold
your life's become dealers in death
and that makes you lower than sludge
you take little children
and dress them in lies
creating new weapons of their little lives
that can't make you better than us
that just makes you evils new friend
instead walk away from your pain
lets help to stop poverty's grip
turn away from evils grey shores
lets help create love we adore
creating the jobs and the wealth
give back to your brothers their health
Granted what happened was wrong
but revenge is a two sided song
killing more innocents won't make it right
it just means that others will join in the fight.
