Everybody Wants To Be a Writer
Everybody wants to be a writer
With tales to tell
And minds to bend
Or burdens to make lighter
Everybody wants to be a writer
With thoughts unfurled
Onto the page,
Perhaps a real nail biter
Perhaps instead, a story of love
Or love that’s unrequited
Or better yet, one that gets published
Everybody wants to be a writer
