Every One Needs a Sick Day

Every one needs a sick day Saturday night not feeling well Think I am going to stay home But my friends keep on calling Not going to answer the phone Under the sheets to keep warm But still the cold makes me shivered Did not feel to cook today So I had some Chinese food delivered Some days we feel strong Like a lion in the wild And then when we are sick That lion becomes meek and mild My friend’s keep on calling Didn’t stop till I answer Said there’s a competition tonight For the best disco dancer Sorry to disappoint them But in bed I will stay Calling time out guys, I’m taking a sick day Every one needs it some time Kings, queens and presidents too I took mines today Tomorrow might be you Some may say it’s dumb And what a silly poem I write But let’s hope they don’t get sick When they go to bed tonight
