Every Day
My heart is pained greatly
For I cannot see you.
Nor can I hear you.
Nor can I touch you.
Each day I wake up,
Take a deep breath,
Fight back my tears,
And force myself to live.
But as I go on,
I soon realize
That no matter what,
I will see you again.
I will harbor hope
And I shall celebrate every day.
For every day brings me
Closer to you.
