Ever So Gently

Like snowflakes on my eyelashes Like the gentle wind that blows Like the rustle of leaves on trees and birds chirping in the eaves You come each day and touch my soul With fingers warm and light And kiss my cheek a breath of jasmine that make my senses reel Illusive as a sunbeam I know when you’re near By the scent of love’s sweet fragrance and the upcurl of my hair When my heart's bursting with joy and your light comes shining through I know ti's you dear God, I know ti's you. Inspired by Maya Angelou.
