Ever Lasting

Seek and ye shall find But truth exists in the contrived Concealed in the equation There is no static explanation Complicated theories created to define What has always existed with or without your human mind To perceive or try to grasp this intelligent design We seek the architect, searching for the blueprints But secrecy quite crucial to protect us from ourselves You want to know, but if you know You just signed your death sentence Humans must have unanswered questions to explore To solve the riddle of creation serves no purpose, will only bore It must remain something that can't be figure out It's mystery, not conclusions, appetite for more Insatiable meditation, intellectual life support Driven by curiosity to covet information This never-ending story has no book of Revelation We live in an expanding, infinite universe We can't understand it, cause being mortal's a curse Handicapped in finite, contradictory to forever Apocalyptic scenarios are made up so we feel better But there's really no such thing as the end of time The universe is not subject to the doom of human kind In fact it grows everyday like kudzu on the vine Fear not, for you still have a great opportunity To overcome death and reach immortality Instead of a tombstone try leaving a legacy And live in the minds of generations to come They will all contemplate how you did what you done
