Ever so downward, ever so far
Ever so eternal, ever the jar
Ever the hurt, ever I cry
Ever I bleed, ever the why
Ever cold, ever lost
Ever the struggle, ever the cost
Ever the darkness, ever forever
Ever the hope, ever never
