Evening Walk

Out walking I turned to see Twilight sneaking up on me It came on slippered feet Day whistling a soft retreat A rustling of the fairy folk Evening magic did invoke To the sun I blew a goodbye kiss Thankful for its warming bliss Listening to earth's evening song My heart rejoiced and sang along
