Evening Walk
Out walking I turned to see
Twilight sneaking up on me
It came on slippered feet
Day whistling a soft retreat
A rustling of the fairy folk
Evening magic did invoke
To the sun I blew a goodbye kiss
Thankful for its warming bliss
Listening to earth's evening song
My heart rejoiced and sang along
