Even Glass Bottles Break In Time

Inside I feel the loneliness Never to know the thoughts you may have instilled Upon me Many years I have waited and searched Today I have found you yet you remain hidden Needed you throughout my years I believe you needed me as well Alcohol has brought your soul to deception Belittled my sister's health She lives no more though Mother has gone beyond the grave also. I am here in loneliness My desires mean nothing because I need you so You were never there to comfort me Yet that may not be your fault completely I have an open mind I do not point fingers without cause Still, you are old now and in need to become a man You are obligated to me whether or not you want to be I did not ask to be here The choice was not mine Accept me, you are the reason I live. Do not hide behind the grand aluminum Even glass bottles break in time Our time is measured here Selfishness is the only hell you will know I love you, there is nothing to change that So much loss I have endured over the years Why must I wait to endure the loss of you? I seek togetherness with you Deep inside you, I would say you do too End this facade of sorrows You know I love you Allow me to call you father to your face. By: DARREN J McMURRAY July 21,2008
