Escape

Pills in hand Feeling so damned Holding back tears from her eyes To numb the pain To drive her sane This salvation she seeks never comes for her He whispers from across a crowded room do you feel it yet? do you feel it yet? She lays there alone, in her broken home Sighing half awake, this pain she can not fake Her escape isn't that far away She grabs the bottle and pours some in her hand Closes her eyes, reality she can not stand and from across the room, she hears it clear Do you feel it yet? Do you feel it yet? Everything starts repeating in her head She screams silently wishing she was dead Rolling in pain To her insanity is sane This pain she can not fake. Listening for nothing she hears it again Do you feel it yet? feel it yet?
