Erehwon
When you are on your knees
unable to move,
when no one can understand
or help you through,
when the world crumbles
at your feet,
when those you rely on
can no longer support you,
when you cry more than
you laugh,
when the word "home"
doesn't quite mean what it
once did,
when life seems to stop
despite the air still flowing through
your lungs,
when you are so alone
and so worn down,
when your relationships
die and love no longer
seems to exist,
when there is nowhere left
for you to go
and everything is backwards...
That's where you remain.
Nowhere backwards.
