Epilogue To My Poem of the Day
Epilogue to My Poem of the Day
What would happen if your dreams and wishes
Did all become like disturbed broken dishes
Of a plane desperately scattered on a hillside
Passengers and crew in heaven now will abide.
Only small lonely pieces are still left there
At home suffering and pain are hard to bare
Many memories of family members remain
And terrible thoughts of co-pilot who was insane.
What drove a person to do something like this?
Was there a point and purpose that I might miss?
All that is left and can be found is a lost legacy
And heaven where souls of dead bodies will be.
What should be done is to start all over again
This thing that happened would never have been
If we discovered in mind of person an intrusion
Resulting in much confusion full of delusion.
What I am trying and from here on really mean
In cockpit there must be an interior latrine
For all males and if one is a female for certain
In each position have available a shower curtain.
Once flight starts, neither pilot nor co-pilot
should be able to leave the cockpit until
the flight reaches it's end. Astronauts will
be remaining together for a year so why not
a pilot and co-pilot for a couple of hours?
Good question.
