Enter the Why

Tongues frozen in timeless decay Dripping words with no meaning; nothing to say. Everyday a dead holiday Sparing no one in its way. Feelings tingle pain Sharp and bright Blood moon reflects light In the damp dark night. Owls sing lullabies. Sleeping. Fever. Sweat. A child’s cry. Enters the why. Creeping carelessly wondering blind. Slowly stalking from behind Walls of doubt. True, yet unkind, enters the why.
