Enlightenment

Enlightenment Between earth and sky. My being dwells. A greater spirit guides My bare feet dig into the dew soaked grass Cool blades grasped between calloused toes I lift my face, in awe of the luminescent creation Rising from the east, hues of orange and blue Early morning peace, birds sing in the glory Rays of light grow stronger, blinding Mustn’t look away. This is now. This is my place in the world. My being dwells. Between earth and sky.
