Written: January 11, 2023 _______________________________________ Forge forth from force, never from forgiveness, Don't fumble with the frame of your future. With veils of past sins, allow some liveness, Bind the soul's light to its faith by suture. And dispel the darkness; squander no tears, But flip the twig and then smile, smile, foresee. Upon the smudged history of missed years, Ariose pure soul that's zealous with glee. Do not be proud of the grieve but believe, That sacred spangle in your crux should grow. Such as the striving spirit can achieve, Gossamer scintilla arcane and glow.

Dear Sotto, what a most breathtaking and deep quatrain poem this is.. Full of wisdom and thought-provoking depths in an intriguing manner.. You've so rightly said that we shouldn't boost the essence of grieve or focus on the sufferings of the past, rather, think of the years lost in abyss and take a resolution to make every moment a cherished one! The rhymes and flow of words here is absolutely bewitching,"Gossamer scintilla arcane and glow","dispel the darkness;squander no tears" Wow, wonderful

As always your quatrain is not just with brilliant rhymes, but also flows with such wisdom that also reflects a bit of stoicism. Forgiveness and resilience to go on and not be proud of the grief or dwell in darkness but to learn how to find light amidst all the chaos. I always think dr sotto, that “ believing” helps with getting so many places. I love the diction alliterations and also how you’ve delivered this in sheer eloquence: you always show a glimpse of strength and self respect.Impressive

Yes, forgiveness helps the one who needs to forgive and give the forgiveness than the one who receives it. It restores their equilibrium and sanity. Thanks for sharing this one and for dropping by my page. Sara K

-"dispel the darkness; squander no tears... " it's okay to cry... but, one has to leave the sadness behind... and move on... life is short :) - A wonderful and meaningful poem, Las :) - hugs ?

Hey Sotto.. This poem weaves resilience and hope, urging to forge ahead with strength and never forget the power of forgiveness. The imagery of veils of past sins and binding the soul's light to faith by suture is striking, capturing the essence of overcoming challenges. The call to dispel darkness and embrace the future with a smile is a poignant reminder of the transformative power of positivity. The use of words like 'ariose,' and 'gossamer scintilla' adds a touch to the poem's message.
