Energy
My eyes move, back and forth
as the leaves sway to the breeze,
appreciating observation's primitive nature,
relishing the energy.
My palms trace a path
as the bark announces its age,
responding to a feeling often deprived,
relishing the energy.
My nose leads away
as the flowers relieve themselves,
secreting affection against attention,
relishing the energy.
My ears wake again
as the birds call upon their flocks,
chirping notes to remedy the current-less silence
relishing the energy.
My heart recovers parts
as nature renews belonging,
waving toward, to welcome
relishing the energy.
