Enduring Love

Two hearts, Many miles, Thousands of footsteps, Apart from one another. What binds them both, Is love, deep and true, Coursing through the veins, Seeping through the soul. Despite the miles, Like a heartbeat, Their love does not falter, nor flicker for a moment. Despite not seeing each other’s faces, Holding one another close, Or sharing intimate moments, Their love continues its cycle. Because of the miles, Love leaves a track, a track of despair, A path of tears, a trail of sadness. But at the end of the path, the sun does shine, As two hearts reunite, Dancing to the beat of love, the beat of desire. Like their love it is relentless, Deep and passionate, Just like the sapphire sea.
