Endless Skies

Endless Skies he sits beneath an endless sky where children laugh and play all alone his head hung low just wallowing in shame he's thinking about yesterday the things he said and did lost in thoughts about himself wondering if he's the only kid who can't control the things he'll do or the things that he will say he doesn't know what he will do the thoughts wont go away how many times he has wished that he could be anybody else but he doesn't seem to have a clue how he can change himself he took a mirror and took a look deep inside his hollow eyes then got upon his knees and prayed toward the endless skies he asked the lord to take his hand to help him see the way he felt a warmth and found the strength to make it through the day now every day he starts the same he prays for strength and love and lives before the eyes of god filled with warmth from up above any time that he needs a hand his savior hears his cries and he knows that he is safe beneath his forever endless skies By: Jeremy Siedlecki
