End of the World
The end is here! That's what they say.
When will it come, What is the day?
What will happen to us, will we all die?
Does our life matter, should we even try?
What day it arrives nobody knows
Only the Father, on the day he chose.
God's set the time, it's on his timetable
no man can change it, no one is able.
Our life now matters, what it is that we do,
to prove we are willing, to make changes too.
To obey our maker, with all of our heart,
Trying now to please him, is a really good start.
When a woman is expecting, and the times overdue,
Do you say it's not coming, it's just not true?
We need a new start, a place to live on,
The earth will be better when all badness is gone.
And so that's the purpose, the end brings a change,
to all of the badness, and all the bad ways.
Will all be gone forever, will be in the past,
Then a new world begins...one that will last.
