End Of The Road
There comes that certain turning point,
direction to end of the road;
a private one-way sign that leads
to final realm of life's abode.
The fire's made, the chores are done;
the winter years sweetly progressed.
And thankful for the decades lived,
it's time to ready for our rest.
There comes that certain turning point
we know our end of road is near.
But at that end, there is a bridge,
we cross to Heaven without fear.
