End Incarnate

My timely death What could it be? Has fate predicted The end of me? I'm not clairvoyant I cannot see. Why must it end So suddenly? Why not undo life Gradually? Climb this great mountain Reach for the top. I'm not discouraged. The day I drop I'll simply return And keep on this climb. This is my reason This is my rhyme. Death on horizon But not death of me. I have one goal One destiny. As I rid my body of the world. And bathe my soul in Light unfurled. Now it's time I step in stride. For now I see my path, my Guide. Who leads me up the mountain, Where I drink from the fountain. Of His pure Love for me. Now I rest for now I'm free.

Jesus loves those who climb the mountain and drink from the fountain but not to drop as a fallen angel. Nice poem.
