Enchanted House
I want to live in an enchanted house
Where everyone ages real slow
The faucet runs with hot and cold tea
And neither weeds nor worries can grow.
I want to live in an enchanted house
With rooms that magically appear
When anyone needing a roof o'er their head
Just happens to wander too near.
I want to live in an enchanted house
Where sweet memories are even more real
You get one more chance to hold them again
And to tell them how much that you feel.
I want to live in an enchanted house
That keeps all the bad stuff away
Where every sleep brings only good dreams
And the sun keeps the rain clouds away.
I want to live in an enchanted house
Where all the furniture's new
But for now I'll settle for enchanting times
In our run-down apartment with you.
