Empty
It was a difficult decision,
To walk away from you.
But in ever competition,
One or the other has to loose…
I thought you a nuisance,
In my already messed life.
But throwing you out of it,
Stabs me sharper than a knife.
At first, it was a great agony,
It was harsh and frustrating.
But as it sank into me,
It slowly started drifting.
It should’ve been nice,
To have the pain going away.
To get rid of the deadly days,
But it felt worse, anyway.
It left me with so much space,
Worse than an unoccupied house.
It left me an enormous gap,
It left me with nothing to browse.
It left me so lifeless,
So blank and deadly.
My lifeless life is barren,
I think it’s EMPTY.
