EMPTINESS
Emptiness encircling and encompassing me ,
sinking in melancholy and despondency.
Life is rolling through concluding phase,
Dusty dusky gloomy hazy sky above to gaze,
Dreary weary dull days to drag without glaze.
Stagnant life neither in glamour nor in glee.
Mind is wandering completely meaningless.
Lone sailor on voyage, sailing just aimless.
No expectation to attain or to achieve more.
Action and creation almost rotten to the core.
No yearnings left to venture or to explore.
Matters little whether being careful or even careless.
Life once started taking completely blank canvas.
Within humble holy heart put a flower vase.
On Canvas of life all happenstances to display.
My performances drawn, painted, day by day.
Fresh flowers of activities in vase intact to stay,
Full bright in rapture or dry pale in sorrow : Oblivious.
Reaching my last stage got shocked to discover
the ruthless truth as an utterly helpless observer :
My drawings - paintings- sketches to delete .
All Memory -flowers to droop in life's twilight.
Success - failure, love - gain, gone obsolete.
Blank canvas - empty vase to ridicule ! My time is over.
