Empathy

The gift of empathy Lets me walk in your shoes I can feel happiness Experience your blues Although it's just a glimpse It helps me understand The choices that you make Are not always pre-planned With all this new knowledge I can cut you some slack Even though I'm angry I don't only see black Let's look at the problem I know that you can change At first it will be hard New thinking can feel strange This will give you freedom Control over your voice Your words can be a gift By you making this choice

I think being able to see through others eyes is such a treasured gift. Not every story has two sides, some have six or seven, by looking at it through different perspectives we see things we wouldn't have seen before. I see what a great person you are, and that is concluded from looking at you through many perspectives. Hugs xx
