E is for the everlasting love you showed years ago to me
M is for the miles that separate us that shouldn't have to be
M is for the moments and memories that together we share
I is for the intimacy that in each our lives since has been ever so rare
T is for the trust between us that has always seemed to be there
T is for the tenderness that showed me just how much for me you cared
E is for your eyes to which one day I hope again into them I can stare
