Emerald Waterway
Emerald Waterway.
Cypress,tall pine trees adorn coastline,
Sun shimmers in blue sapphire river,
Little girl in glee gathers conch shells,
Stock dips the beak in its reflection,
Raindrops blend in,kids splash in river,
Landscapes mirror their matte and gloss frame,
Rocks bathe,river nurses aqua life,
Clematis sways with flowing river,
Waterfall flutes a tune for sand dunes,
Snail peeps out in the pool of river,
Slimy frog croaks at the crab to join,
Emerald waterway seems slender.
P.S-A poem of 12 lines with 9 syllables in each line.
