Embracing Winter

With the onslaught of winter Days become shorter and the nights longer The air becomes crisper Trees fight winds as they get stronger The rain and the wind has signed a merger The sun hides till late in the morning While wrestling a cloud filled sky Dewdrops kiss the foliage when the day is dawning A blistering wind makes everything go awry When the rain starts falling, nothing is left dry...

Guess you don't see much snow in Cape Town, Wilma. I love the image of the dewdrops "kissing" the plants as dawn awakens the earth. Into each life a little rain must fall, but it seems like you have quite a bit of it! Too much of a good thing? Love, Carolyn
