Embrace the Lines
I embrace the line of fleeting moments
Seated on the wings of homeward pelicans
Where the setting sun still waves to say
Orange goodbyes until tomorrow
At my window lines of sounds
From fleeting words of your coffee
Seek few lines of a short term station
Embracing them is a great temptation
The line of children on the road
To board their school bus in the morning
I embrace their line and go back
Sixty years in a lovely time tube
In your whispering lines’ embrace
The crimson cascading awareness
