Elderly’s day break

Sun is set to shine Streets start humming Birds are ready to fly Trees awaiting the shadows I start my day How it goes? Yesterday's hangover continues Though diluted, New engagements creep in May be exciting Sound of kitchen utensils From the adjacent house Horn of the school bus Steps of running children Enrich neighborly ambience Life is a routine Filled with occasional thrills And memories, sad, good and bad At times laughable being Puerile delinquencies Much water has flown Black turned into grey Many left, distances enhanced Impulses subdued Age is fast taking over
