hear me out or don't it matters not ~ this recall isn't due to promises made to you for in the far away mind weighted and still spaces clear light comes in not at my command but regular enough the line of sight goes elsewhere I wait to be discovered shake this burden from my shoulders open my eyes to what lays before me mortal coil versus a lungful of water or vice versa vision blurs regardless but I don't breathe out all that is beautiful is in the space between us beyond arms reach beyond hold beyond thought I sit with my head in my hands still conscious of all that is impossible could the haze breach my nothingness though you lay and wait I'm too solidly in view I need to disappear a little

Thank you Jan, it's quite meditative just considering the images and writing the ideas down. It's possible to write a new poem at every viewing. Thank you for sharing you enjoyed mine - I appreciate you stopping by x

-D.D., Norway is proud of Edvard Munch - around 28,000 works exist after Munch ... unfortunately he never got rich from his work - Great written :) - hugs

Ooh just looked up the size of Norway and it's possible for us to be exactly the same distance (or further I think) from Oslo, even with you being in Norway :) I was considering Oslo as a day trip the other day haha

- You have to do that :) - I live far from Oslo ... it's a bit sad ... we could have met at the Edvard Munch Museum

A beautiful poem accompanied by a legendary drawing. A feeling of isolation seeped into my brain as I read and empathized with this poem.
