Edge of Despair

For anyone, teetering on the edge of despair, back up a moment, step away from the precipice and see yourself as we see you. The spakling of your eyes, those shades of green or blue or brown, a glint so bright we may be forced to look away grateful to recognize and hold it in our lives. Your soft, gentle and welcoming smile beckons us to you, to be close at your side, as your friend with insufficient, inadequate words telling you You are part of our hearts. You have a purpose here, a reason for living, being. Take up the task and stay, holding on to those you love never giving in, take my hand I am here for you.
