Eden

Was there ever a place called Eden? A place of pure tranquility, A garden of love and peace, Where man could walk at ease. Can there ever be a place called Eden? A place just to walk and talk, Where brother can live with brother, Not bearing arms to kill each other. Will there ever be a place called Eden? Can it ever be like that again, Will the guns one day be silent, Will we ever live without pain. When can we ever have an Eden? Do we deserve for this to be so, After what we have done to our world. Dear God, please forgive us and make it so. © Dave Timperley April 2015
