Eclipsed
They say it was a super moon
but regretfully
I could not see it.
The shadow clouds stole away my view
and I was deprived
of its wonderous display.
I’m not sure I’ll be here in 2033
that seems a long way off,
too, too far from today.
I am not a child any longer
but time alone will tell
but for now, holds that secret.
For now I still look and observe
the beauty of the skies
in daylight or night time
There is a wonder
that can never ever
be eclipsed by the earth, the moon or sun.
