East Coast Time

Thinking back to east coast time two more hours of pain two more hours of no gain two more hours of hate two more hours of disbelief two more hours of disgrace Thinking back to east coast time why did I stay Why did I try I knew before it would not work on east coast time the struggle is strong the fear is blinding love is gone the anger was wrong In east coast time you have time to swallow in regret distorted dreams dead end abundant the margin of error much greater In east coast time two hours ago your world has ended you've crashed head on into failed expectations On east coast time I'd rather be here in west coast time where I believe all is surreal with me
