Earth

The water splashed against the rocks The breeze was gentle and slow The birds they chirped a happy melody As the sun shown over that forest But this peacefulness was destroyed The sounds of drills had taken over As the animals ran for cover Trees falling down So many sounds And with this an industry was built No more was this peaceful forest This is the corruption of man this is not their land Yet we take because we are greedy Filled with pride Because we are only worried about ourselves We are slowly killing our earth People wake up and realize the worth Of what you are killing what you destroy Because once it’s gone you have nothing
