Early Spring Morning
Frost covers the green sun hidden blades
As the winter ever so slowly fades
Starved of gentle warm spring air
Birds sing as if to show they’re still there
Forgotten the beauty in their song
They always leave but are never gone
Fresh from winters’ cold fist
Warmer waters bring a calm mist
Sun blossoms all around
In this awaken paradise I have found
Showing no matter how dark winters night
Or how much struggle in the fight
Warmer days will bring new light
Even when it seems out of sight
The world is seen through a whole new lens
And today is when a new day begins
