Early Morning Shock

At two AM in the morning, I had to go. I got in my car, and turned on the radio. The news was important early Wednesday morning. Unbelievable words hit me without warning. The message came as a shocking surprise. Could I believe my ears and eyes? This item was something without any precedent. A politically-inexperienced man was elected President. It's questionable by many if this man would belong. Were all the political pundits out there dead wrong? The polls before election said he would lose. However, this was the candidate the majority would choose. Well, we are stuck with him for the next four years. I hope we all will not be shedding tears.

Fabulous topical write Robert I think we have very challenging times ahead both here in the UK and in the US - decisions have been made - they may not be our own personal choices but we have to accept and hope that things aren't going to be as bad as we anticipate and grit our teeth and get on with life:-) hugs jan xx7

Currently, (Nov.11), Clinton is actually leading in the popular vote (by about 218,000) with 92% of the vote counted.

Great rhymes Robert. I'm sure he has enough experience from the other side of the table to know what to do.
