Early Morning Shock
At two AM in the morning, I had to go.
I got in my car, and turned on the radio.
The news was important early Wednesday morning.
Unbelievable words hit me without warning.
The message came as a shocking surprise.
Could I believe my ears and eyes?
This item was something without any precedent.
A politically-inexperienced man was elected President.
It's questionable by many if this man would belong.
Were all the political pundits out there dead wrong?
The polls before election said he would lose.
However, this was the candidate the majority would choose.
Well, we are stuck with him for the next four years.
I hope we all will not be shedding tears.
