Each Passing Word

My secret is safe from me
Camouflaged beneath the skin
(not even the eternal flame of the sun
allowed in)
Light beyond the fading clouds
Sounding their warnings
Not allowed ....
not aloud
So I read to myself in silence
And instantly forget
Each passing word
