Dying In the Light

I'm gradually losing strength, And will exhale my last breath any moment from now, The bio-weapon and its politics in my motherland tore into my flesh and soul, Now fate rolls the dice. It's really bad for me and clear as a forest pool, I'm drying and expiring, it's like living in a world with no air, The death of me must be their mission, I'm insecure and locked down with no palliative. This is a life-threatening situation, My eyes are like limpid ponds in shadow, I'm already tired of fighting, Fluid as thought, but my mind and ink couldn't flow. Now I'm fagged and sallow, like the day, The mortal coldness of my life, like death itself came down, The melodies of the birds are all gone, 'Stay safe' they said but I'm just a dark poet dying in the light.
